As a business woman and mother of two boys, I am an advocate of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle. My career devotion to children's sports adds to this passion.After "reaching the milestone of 40 years old" and soon after dealing with a bad running injury, I began searching for a fitness program, that would develop cardio endurance and core strength but at the same time one that would be fun, challenging and social.

I started working with Adam and Ashlea about 6 months ago. I was preparing for my muay thai "in house" fight and wanted to work on my strength and overall body composition. I also wanted to work on my cardio as I needed to be able to go 3 rounds in the ring. My fight night came and I won by unanimous decision. I have been working out with Ashlea for sometime now. There came a point in my life where it was time to start taking care of my health. I was having chronic back problems, restless sleeps, breathing and weight issues. Since my tenure at FIT, my back issues are gone, my sleep habits are much improved, and though I have managed to drop 25 pounds and keep it off, the weight is a constant battle. If I could only discipline myself around the dinner table and during football season, I would be back to my Greek God form again. This is the next challenge and goal as I continue at Fit with Ash. I have been working out at various gyms for the last 16 years of my life, using the method of weights and heavy machines. It did help me to stay in shape, yet I was never able to achieve my goals. My goals were to create a flat, toned and strong mid-section along with weight loss.
No matter how many crunches, sit-ups or ab machines I would use; I could never achieve the results I wanted to see, nor was it easy to shed the extra pounds. That was until I signed up with FitStudios.
I have been training for the last 10 months but within 3 months I saw instant results! This new way of exercising, is actually similar to the movements we used as kids when we played.
It has allowed me to develop a 4 pack, 2 away from a 6 pack. My weight has dropped and I am feeling younger now, than I was before I had my children.

As a Ballroom and Latin Dancer, the training I get now has given me a better appearance, more stronger, controlled movements, better balance and good posture. Most importantly, the results were quick and obvious.
The nice thing about training at FitStudios and the training methods they use, is that it is not hard on your body. Using heavy weights or improper use of weights and machinery can cause serious injuries. This method is very challenging but not focused on pushing heavy weights. It focus' more on the strength, the power and the muscles the body uses in each movement. It actually can be fun at times!
Using your own body weight develops the strength, resistance and challenge you need to form a lean, toned and strong body! AND WHO DOESN'T WANT THAT!!!!!!!

I was recommended to try out FitStudios by a coworker after they watched me try to loose weight with no success for a couple of years.I am a 49 year old woman who has tried many things in the past to loose weight; I joined a gym with a personal trainer, I joined Weight Watchers, I purchased work out DVD’s that made promises of weight lose in 30 days, and tried many diets and cleanses with little to no success.
I went to see Adam Theodorou and Ashlea Lips for a counsel session to let them know of my goal and if they could help. My goal was to loose 10 lbs in 3 months because the motivation for me was a 2 week holiday down south and I wanted to feel good in a bathing suit.
Ashlea took the challenge. I started in November 2009 as my holiday was set for the end of January 2010. That gave us 3 months! Ashlea was great. She started me off with a routine that felt good for me. I was sore at the beginning which was to be expected because I used muscles that have not been worked in a long time if ever. I was eating right but through our discussions I picked up some pointers and cut down the portions size of my meals. I also increased my super foods that promote weight lose.
At first I did not see the weight come off but I did notice that my clothes felt better on me then they had in awhile. I felt better, slept better and looked forward to the work outs. Then just before Christmas I saw a big drop in weight on the scale. I was extremely excited. Ashlea continued training and was well prepared for the sessions. She continually brought new routines and work outs for not only the variety but to work all parts of my body. Even though I had to deal with Christmas, a mini get-a-way over the holidays and putting my back out so I could not work out for a bit; I was still loosing the weight and became more toned.
Just before my holidays, my weight dropped again. I can’t express how happy I was going on my holidays. I lost 12 lbs! 2 lbs more then my goal! I feel great and was taught the tools to continue while I was away so I did not put the weight back on. It worked. Months after my return and I am keeping the weight off thanks to Ashlea!

I have been training with Adam and staff at FitStudios for over 4 years now. My original goal of working with Adam was to get back in shape after University. Adam set up a structured program for me to follow and the results came quickly. I became lean, toned and was very pleased with the outcome of our program.
Recently I wanted to switch my workouts to be more hockey related. Adam tailored a hockey specific program that is starting to pay dividends. I have played competitive hockey for 15 years and I have never felt so good. My leg and core strength have increased significantly and my skating has never been better. My on-ice game is the best it’s been in years due to my off-ice training program at Fit Studios.
Training at FitStudios is not like any other gym. The comfortable atmosphere is ideal for working out and the staff is always helpful and energetic.
