Dr. James Ho FITSTUDIOS
Dr. James Ho graduated with honors from the B.H.Ss. Bio-health Sciences program at the University of Western Ontario. He then completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the fountainhead of chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has maintained an active interest in learning and integrating effective techniques and therapies, has held
certification in Active Release Techniques, and holds a diploma in Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program.
Dr. Ho has developed a special interest in treating both professional and amateur atheletes. He has consulted with, and treated profressional atheletes from the NHL, MLB, CFL, TKO, UFC, Affliction MMA, as well as with members of the Canadian National Bobsled team, and Baseball Canada's Senior National Team and Olympic teams. Currently, he is priviledged to serve on staff for the University of Westren Ontario's Western Mustangs' Track and Field team as team chiropractor.
In clinical practice, Dr. Ho utilizes and integrates an effective complement of techniques such as contemporary medical electro-acupuncture, soft tissue and myofascial manipulation, and chiropractic joint manipulation. His focused and complementary approach to the functional treatment of injuries, its greater impact on the whole body, improving the body's performance, and educating the patient about their specific injuries and concerns has provided excellent results to date. Often exceeding the performance based goals of the athlete, and in applying this knowledge learned to the mangement and applications of every day clinical cases of every patient.
